I’m so glad you asked the question, “What’s the difference between the Groove Digital Marketing Platform‘s free and lifetime plans?” Because honestly, I’ve been looking at that and diving deep into the differences myself.

You can “only” create 3 websites using GroovePages and one blog with GrooveBlog, while the Lifetime plan gives you unlimited websites and blogs! Custom domains are also “limited” on the free plan (3 on GroovePages and one on GrooveBlog) but again, unlimited on the Lifetime plan.
Does your business use, or plan to use video marketing? GrooveVideo’s free account allows you 15 videos, but no storage or bandwidth. However, with the Lifetime account, you have 100 GB of storage (for life) with 100 GB bandwidth per month. And you can host an unlimited number of videos on Groove.
Do you want to create a membership site for your business? With GrooveMember, you can get started with one membership site on your free plan. But if you want more than one membership area, the Lifetime account will give you an unlimited number of membership site possibilities. And these sites can all have an unlimited number of members, unlike the one free membership area which is limited to 100 members.
Email is a big thing for businesses. And “BIG” in cost too. But if you’re just starting out or just underway growing your email list, Groove’s free account gives you 500 email contacts and 5,000 email sends per month. A great deal for free, even if you can’t import contacts. But with the Lifetime account, import those contacts, of which you can have 10,000, and you can send an unlimited number of emails! That’s right, you heard correctly. Unlimited email sends for up to 10,000 contacts on your email list(s). That alone is worth the price of the Lifetime plan!
Now if you sell online, there is a cost difference with GrooveKart Stores, which cost 4.95% + .30 cents (USD) online credit card rates on the free plan versus a 2.85% + .25 cents (USD) cost. And the third party payment processors cost is zero percent on the Lifetime plan, versus 2% on the free plan.
GrooveSell is almost identical, except that your free account is limited when it comes to emails to customers (can do transactional emails only) along with a single send email on shopping cart abondonment.
And finally, there is no difference between free and lifetime accounts on GrooveAffiliate.

Basically if you want to have a “hobby” online, the free plan is likely all you need, and I encourage you to go ahead and get your free account while they are still crazy enough to keep it out there!
