To make sure your packages arrive before December 25, here’s when the United States Postal Service (USPS) recommends you ship by:
- First Class Package: Ship by December 18.
- Priority Mail: Ship by December 19.
- Priority Mail Express: Ship by December 23.
- Media Mail & Parcel Select Ground: Ship by December 15.
- Simple Export Rate, First Class Package International and Priority Mail International: Ship by November 30 for Africa, Central America, and South America — and by December 7 for the rest of the world.
- Priority Mail Express International: Ship by December 7 for Africa, Central America, and South America — and by December 14 for the rest of the world.
- Shipping to/from Hawaii, Alaska or a Military address? Check out all the deadlines here.
Keep in mind these are delivery estimates from USPS, not guarantees… and especially with the extra package volumes due to the pandemic, we strongly recommend shipping your packages as far before these deadlines as possible to give USPS plenty of time to get your bounty where it needs to be.
And of course, I recommend using Pirate Ship. Not only will the pirate save you money on your USPS shipping, but you can also buy your postage and ship your USPS mail right from your house!
